Who sponsors Olde Glory Days? Answer: We all do!

If you have never been to Clinton’s Olde Glory Days Celebration, I’m inviting you now to come to Clinton next week starting July 4th – 6th.    Early next week our downtown square will transform into a wonderland of fun with carnival rides, booths and FREE live entertainment!  No that is not a typo, it is FREE!   Our tight-knit community comes together every year to provide us this celebration and it takes many dollars and many man hours of volunteer time to make things run smoothly.  Our businesses from big and small sponsor all the FREE events that occur.  There is a little bit of everything from young to old!

I recently switched from working for a company with a more corporate feel to working at The Bluebird Mercantile to help it grow.  My new experience has made me open my eyes to the importance of shopping local.  Shopping local helps keep our town rolling with each and every purchase, which means you are also a sponsor of Olde Glory Days.   You may not have your name on the brochure or on the main stage but your loyalty to shopping in your hometown brings FREE celebrations through the sponsorships of our business for which you have made a purchase.

WE WILL BE OPEN ON THE 4th of JULY and each day of the Olde Glory Days celebration.  We hope you will shop local and stop by and see us.   We have cold drinks and lots of snacks ready for you.

Also, watch for us around the square before and during the Grand Parade.   WE MAY HAVE SOMETHING TO GIVE AWAY!

The Bluebird Mercantile staff would like to thank our community members, the sponsors of Olde Glory Days and most importantly our service members past and present who sacrifice so much to protect our freedom and give us the opportunity to enjoy this celebration!
